Most moving-quote sites make money by selling your phone number to whoever bids highest, which is why one form turns into a week of calls. Moving Company Estimateis built the opposite way. Here's exactly what we check, and exactly what happens with your information.
Our referral standard
Active operating authority
For any interstate move, the carrier must hold active USDOT and FMCSA operating authority. We don't refer movers whose authority is inactive, revoked, or out-of-service, and we tell you the USDOT number so you can confirm it yourself.
Verified insurance
Referred movers carry the cargo and liability coverage their authority requires. Interstate carriers must offer both released-value and full-value protection options, you choose your coverage level directly with the mover before your job.
Named before any contact
You see each matched company by name before they ever reach you. No anonymous callbacks, no 'a moving specialist will contact you' mystery. If you don't recognize or want a match, you're never obligated to respond.
Three matches, maximum
We cap referrals at three licensed movers per request. Most quote sites sell your information to as many buyers as will pay, which is why one form turns into a dozen calls. We built the opposite by design.
Consent you control
Contact happens only if you submit the quote form and check the one-to-one consent box, agreeing to hear from those specific named movers, not a network. Reply STOP to any message and contact ends immediately.
